Obituary

Marvin Roland Logsdon, age 70 of Hardyville, KY, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a member of the New Life Ministry. He was a US Army Veteran and retired from R.R. Donnelley. He was a life long carpenter working for Lindburg Forbes Construction for seven years, also building houses for his community as well as his children. He enjoyed working and farming, spending time with his family was important to his life. He was a wonderful husband, caring father, wonderful grandfather, and faithful brother.

He is the son of the late Joseph Marvin Logsdon and the late Athel Montiana Hayes Logsdon.

He is preceded in death by two brothers, Jamie Ray Logsdon and Franklin Tracy Logsdon.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rebecca “Robin” Matthews Logsdon, Hardyville, KY; his two daughters, Cynthia Costello (Jason), Edmonton, KY, and Jennifer Reynolds (David), Park City, KY; his son, Chris Logsdon (Veronica), Hardyville, KY; seven grandchildren, Brandon Edwards (Dana), Kaleb Costello, Jack Costello, Chloe Costello, DeLeashia McCoy (Charlie), Isaac Reynolds (Jordan), and Eli Reynolds (Stacia); four great-grandchildren, Brynlee Rayne Edwards, Wrigley Russell Reynolds, Maren Beth McCoy, and Evelyn Gray Reynolds; one sister, Sarah Constanzo; two brothers, Stanley “Stan” Logsdon (Kay), and Michael Logsdon (Lorrie); several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family also survive.

The family will welcome friends from 4:00- 8:00 PM CT on Sunday, June 21, 2026 and again from 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM CT on Monday, June 22, 2026 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CT on Monday, June 22, 2026 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Wood officiating. Burial, with military honors by the D.A.V. Chapter 20 in Glasgow, will be at Houk Cemetery.
