Rebecca Lynn Philpott, age 47, of Horse Cave, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024 at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky. She was employed by McDonald's Corporation. She had a passion for horses and loved hunting, fishing, and skating., She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was the daughter of the late Elmer A. Stegemoller and Janet White Stegemoller.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Terri Stegemoller.
She is survived by her husband, Leon Philpott; one son, Aaron Philpott (Kelsey) of Glasgow, KY; one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Philpott, of Center, KY; four grandchildren; Brandon, Elena, Delylah, and Savannah; three sisters, Laurie Foldenauer (Carl) of Palmer, AK, Janet McLaughlin (David) of Circleville, OH, Melinda Jane Johnson (Chris) of Defiak, FL.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-8:00 P.M. on Monday, March 18, 2024 and again from 9:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. CT on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Barry Devine officiating. Burial will follow at Walters Community Cemetery in Munfordville, Kentucky.
