Robert Lee "Bobby" Martin

Robert Lee "Bobby" Martin, age 83 of Canmer, KY passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. He was a member of Fairview Church of Christ and a life long farmer, also known as "The Bull Man", along with his family, he had Martin Farms. He pulled trucks and tractors for years with alot of good friends.  

He was the son of the late Cecil Martin and the late Lillian Forbis Martin.

He is preceded in death by his son, Allen Martin; two sisters, Ermine Melloan and Mary Ann Crain.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Judy Martin, Canmer, KY; one son, Chris Martin and his wife Chasta, Canmer, KY; three grandsons, Garrett Dennison (Haley), Austin Martin, and Caymen Martin; two brothers, C.F. Martin and his wife Martha Jane, Hardyville, KY, Pete Martin and his wife Nancy, Hardyville, KY; one sister, Carolyn Pinkham, Elizabethtown, KY; one sister-in-law, Lisa Wright; several nieces, nephews and other extended family also survive.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM- 8:00 PM CT on Thursday, May 1, 2025 and again from 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM CT on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CT on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Ronald Riordan officiating. Burial will follow at Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
