Roger L. Kessinger

Roger L. Kessinger, age 81, of Cub Run, KY, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014, at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was retired from Lockheed Martin, Korean Air Force Veteran and a 32 Degree Mason with the Valley of Denver Masonic Lodge #185 F&AM. He was the son of the late Virgil Kessinger and the late Wava Golden Dennison Kessinger and husband of the late Mildred Frances Logsdon Kessinger. He is survived by three sons, Paul Kessinger, Cub Run, KY, Daniel R. Kessinger and wife Kaye, Munfordville, KY, Mark S. Kessinger and wife Lynellen, Highland Ranch, CO; two brothers, David Kessinger, Louisville, KY, Kenneth Kessinger, Bakersfield, CA; ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, several cousins. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother Forrest Grant Kessinger. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 11, 2014 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Murphy officiating. Interment will be at Cub Run Cemetery, Cub Run, KY. Masonic service will be 7:00 pm Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Brooks Funeral Home.
