Roger E. Williams

Roger E. Williams, age 86 of Horse Cave, went to his heavenly reward on Monday, July 14, 2025. He was a member of Horse Cave First Baptist. He was an avid University of Louisville sports fan. He loved spending time with family and friends.

He was the son of the late Lawrence Williams and the late Cassie Yates Williams.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Howard Williams; two sons, Randy Williams and Mitchell Bethel; one brother, Porter Williams.

He is survived by two sons, Ronald Lee Williams and his wife Stephanie of Kileen, TX, Kenny Williams of Horse Cave, KY; one daughter Nay Williams of Horse Cave, KY; several grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Tisdale of Louisville, KY and Betsy Doss of Baltimore, MD; many nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends also survive.

The family will welcome friends from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM CT on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home. Homegoing services will be held at 1:00 PM CT on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home with Rev. Jamie Maxey officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodsonville Memorial Gardens.
