Roxie Lee Nuckols, age 91, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013, at Hart County Health Care Center in Horse Cave, KY. She was a Homemaker and a member of Bearwallow Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Weaden Brents and the late Carrie Rae Brents.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Nuckols Jr; One sister, Claire Marie Brents; Four brothers: Herbert L. Brents, Daniel L. Brents, Herman C. Brents and Harry L. Brents.
She is survived by several nieces: Precious Driver (caregiver), Lousiville, KY; Bivian Driver (caregiver), Horse Cave, KY; Marilyn Brents, Cave City, KY; Linda Brents, Horse Cave, KY; Ophelia Nuckols, Glasgow, KY; Katherine Bradley, Horse Cave, KY; Mary Sublett, Bowling Green, KY; Evelyn Nuckols, Horse Cave, KY. One sister in law: Onez Nuckols, Horse Cave, KY; several nephews: William Brents, Bowling Green, KY; Daniel Hall, Horse Cave, KY; Robert Brents, Morehead, KY; Henry Nuckols, Indianapolis, IN; Roy Maxey, Indianapolis, IN.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY. Family will receive friends at Bearwallow Baptist Church in Horse Cave from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 17, 2013. Funeral service will be at Bearwallow Baptist Church at 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 17, 2013, Rev. Glenn Woodard and Rev. Hugh Heater officiating. Interment will be at Bearwallow Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY
