Ruby Opal (Waddle) Butler

Ruby Opal Butler, age 89, of Bowling Green, KY formerly of Bonnieville, KY, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014, at Greenwood Nursing & Rehab in Bowling Green, KY. She was a homemaker, member of Bonnieville Eastern Star #191 O.E.S. and a member of Bonnieville Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Frank Waddle and the late Laura Carroll Waddle and wife of the late William Francis Butler.
She is survived by two daughters, Wanda Sue Cox and husband Kenneth, Bowling Green, KY, Jeannie Marr and husband Danny, Bowling Green, KY; two sons, Larry Wayne Butler and wife Debbie, Elizabethtown, KY, Robert Lee "Bobby" Butler and wife Brandy, Bonnieville, KY; four grandchildren, Kevin Cox, Julie Bogle, Amber Butler, Renee Rigdon; four great-grandchildren, Ellen Cox, Alex Cox, Caydon Rigdon, Riley Bogle. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son William Ray "Billy" Butler; three brothers, James, Elmer and Bernie Waddle and two sisters Susan Ollie Smith and Elva Smith.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, April 1, 2014 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Glenn Routt officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Bonnieville, KY. Eastern Star service will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Brooks Funeral Home.
