Samuel Lee "Sammy" Lewis , age 77, of Louisville, KY, passed away Friday, May 2, 2014, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY.
The Hart County native was the son of the late Edwin Homer Lewis and the late Minnie Ethel McCubbins Lewis
He is survived by one daughter, Connie Kelty and husband Daniel , Louisville, KY; one son, Dale Lewis, Lousivlle, KY; one brother-in-law, Billy Walters, Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by six grand children, many great grand children and many friends in Hart County.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Martha Dale Walters Lewis; two daughters Elizabeth Spies and Rebecca Sauer.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM CT, Monday, May 5, 2014. and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM CT, Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 11:00 AM CT, Tuesday, May 6, 2014, Bro. Marty Edwards officiating. Interment will be at Knoxes Creek Cemetery, Magnolia, KY
