Sarah Miller, age 81 of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Monday, May 11, 2026 at the Medical Center at Caverna. She was a homemaker and was born October 17, 1944 to the late David E. Miller and the late Sarah Gingerich Miller. She married her huband, Melvin Miller, Jr. on November 26, 1963. 

To their union, ten children were born, Ruth Schmucker married Lester, Linda Yoder married Robert, Chester Miller married Esther, Barbara Miller married William, Martha Yoder married Danny Ray, Mary Ann Schmucker married Simon, Miriam Troyer married Jonathon, Susan Miller married Robert, Paul Miller married Rachel, and Sarah Miller;  43 grandchildren, 78 great-grandchildren, one great- grandchild deceased; She also leaves behind to cherish her memory two sisters, Emma Brown and Mary Byler; two brothers, Joe Miller and David Miller, Jr.

She is preceded in death by three sisters, Barbara Slabaugh, Elizabeth Byler, and Martha Miller; three brothers, Allen Miller, Eli Miller, and Dan Miller.

The family will welcome friends starting on the morning of Friday, May 15, 2026 at the home of Simon and Mary Ann Schmucker (3989 S. Dixie Hwy, Horse Cave, KY, 42765) and continue on to Saturday, May 16, 2026 and until the time of the service on Sunday, May 17, 2026. The funeral services for Mrs. Miller will be held at 9:30 AM CT on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at the home of Simon and Mary Ann Schmucker. Burial will follow at the Clearview Cemetery. Brooks Funeral Home in Munfordville, KY is assisting the family with arrangements.
