Selvonia Carpenter, age 69, of Munfordville, KY passed away at approximately 4:00 AM CST Tuesday, December 12, 2006, at her residence in Munfordville, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.
She is the daughter of Jenetta Clark of Munfordville, KY and the late Wesley Carpenter.
She is survived by her Two Daughters: Debra Spurlin and Jennifer Jones both of Munfordville, KY; One Son: Robert Carpenter of Hampton, VA; One Brother: James L. Carpenter of Tucson, AZ; Five grandchildren and Eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two sons: Mitchell and Steve Carpenter; a sister: Mary Swift.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY. The family will receive friends at Morning Star Baptist Church from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CST Friday, December 15, 2006 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CST Saturday, December 16, 2006. Funeral service will be at Morning Star Baptist Church at 1:00 PM CST Saturday, December 16, 2006 with Rev. Warner Fishback and Rev. Hugh Heater officiating. Interment will be at Morning Star Church Cemetery in Munfordville, KY.
