Susie Detweiler

Susie D. Detweiler, age 88, of Munfordville, KY passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Millersburg, OH to J.B. and Ida (Heishberger) Miller on June 26, 1936. She was married to Eli F. Detweiler who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Old Order Amish. 

Survivors include her children, Arlene (Andy) Stutzman, Crab Orchard, KY,  Leona (Ray) Miller, of the Home, Glen (Karen) Detweiler, Rexford, MT Ruby (Richard) Yoder, Shipshewana, IN, Marvin (Marlene) Detweiler, Plummer, ID; 27 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.

Preceding her in death are two brothers, Emanuel (Sarah) Miller, Raymond (Vesta) Miller; one sister, (Jacob) Mary Chupp; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 begining at 8:00 AM and continue until time of service on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service wil be held at the residence of Ray Miller at 9:30 AM on Friday, November 22, 2024 officiating will be Bishop David Byler. Burial will follow at the Hilltop Amish Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY.
