Timothy Wade Jones, age 58 of Canmer, passed away Monday, September 7, 2026 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was of the Baptist Faith and attended services at Cave Hill Baptist Church. He was a sales consultant for 84 Lumber. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, whatever they were doing, he was doing. He loved floating the river, going on trips with his wife, and good music. He was a wonderful husband, father, Poppy, and brother.

He is the son of the late Bill Jones and Linda Gregory Baker of Longview, TX.

He is preceded in death by his father; a father-in-law, Emmett Crain; two brothers-in-law, Greg and Barry Crain; his maternal grandparents “Nannie and Pa”, Bill and Jean Gregory; his paternal grandparents, Jessie and Florence Jones.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Teresa Crain Jones, Canmer, KY; his two daughters, Tiffany Sanders (Nicole) and Brittany Edwards (Larry); his son, Tyler Jones (Brooke); eight grandchildren, Carson Jones, Claire Jones, Joseph Edwards, Bailey Edwards, Memphis Jones, Reagan Jones, Ivy Jones, and Bryler Jones; one brother, Neil Jones (Judy); his mother; a step-mother, Wanda Jones; two sisters-in-law, Lynn Malone (Tim) and Sheila Crain; his mother-in-law, Loretta Crain; daughter-in-law, Maranda Moon; a niece, Heather Ross; two nephews, Michael Crain and Morgan Crain also survive.

Honoring Tim’s wishes, cremation has been chosen. No services are scheduled at this time.
