Velma "Trixie" Puckett

Velma "Trixie" Puckett, age 81, of Munfordville, KY passed away Monday, February 27, 2006, at Kings Daughters & Sons Home in Louisville, KY. The Kessinger native was born on June 21, 1924. She was a homemaker and a member of Wilkerson Temple United Methodist Church. Her husband was the late Joe Puckett. She was the daughter of the late Elzie and Condie Self. She is survived by her two granddaughters: Tamara G. Puckett and Jeanette R. Heath both of Louisville, KY; a brother: Willie Self of Munfordville, KY; four great-grandchildren: Bayley Owen Puckett, Thomas Winston Heath III, Arthur Scott Heath, and Brady Alexander Olson. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son: Owen "Tommy" Puckett. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM CST on Wednesay and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CST on Thursday. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 PM CST at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Paul C. Hawkins officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery in Munfordville, KY.
