Virginia Evelyn Devore McCorkle- Nunn

Virginia Evelyn Devore McCorkle-Nunn, age 90 years and seven months of Munfordville, entered into Heaven on July 19, 2025 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. Virginia was born on December 9, 1934 to the late Walter “Bully” Devore and the late Musetta Fulks Devore. She retired from Louisville Bedding and worked as a caregiver for many years.

Virginia now enjoys the greatest reunion of all in Heaven with our Lord and Savior and those loved ones who have preceded her including her parents; her first husband, James Henry McCorkle; four sons, Melvin, Donald Ray, Darrell, and Mark McCorkle; her second husband, Judd E. Nunn; two brothers, Johnny and Walter “Junior” Devore.

Left to cherish her memories are two step-daughters, Debbie Thompson (Paul) and Melinda Martin; several grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; numerous special friends and family members whom she loved dearly.

The family will welcome friends from 9:00 AM- 2:00 PM CT on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM CT on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremy Glaab officiating. Burial will follow in the Munfordville Municipal Cemetery.
