William Kirk Barbour

William Kirk Barbour, age 60, of Lexington, KY formerly of Canmer, KY, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at UKMC Chandler in Lexington, KY. He was a retired farmer and a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church.
The Hart County native was the son of the late Kirk Barbour and the late Clarine Jordan Barbour.
He is survived by three sisters, Clara Mae Miller and husband Arzo, Greensburg, KY, Christine Holt, Lexington, KY, Rosie Perkins, Horse Cave, KY; one brother, Jerry Barbour, Lexington, KY; two step sisters, Arvette Barbour, Louisville, KY, Truly Phillips, Elizabethtown, KY; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 15, 2014, Rev. Carl "Dollie" Reed and Rev. Douglas Barbour officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Gilboa Cemetery, Canmer, KY.
