William Luther "Babe" Lawson, age 70, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Monday, December 19, 2011, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, KY. He was a retired truck driver and member of the Cave Springs Baptist Church.
He was the son of the late Luther "Cheek" Lawson and the late Mary Elizabeth Davis Lawson.
He is survived by two sons: David Lawson (Teresa), Horse Cave, KY, Eric Lawson (Lacey), Louisville, KY; two brothers: Kenneth Wayne "Tiny" Lawson, Virginia, Clyde "Wilkie" Lawson, Magnolia, KY; six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 21, 2011 and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 22, 2011. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 22, 2011, Bro. Gary Talley officiating. Interment will be at Pearl Webb Cemetery, Canmer, KY.
