William Ervin "W.E." McFelia

William Ervin "W. E." McFelia, age 94, of Munfordville, KY passed away at 6:04 PM Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at Hart County Health Care Center in Horse Cave, KY. The Linwood native was born on September 11, 1912 and was a retired farmer. He was a member of Rowletts Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Matthew McFelia and the late Flora (Clopton) McFelia. He was married to the late Lizzie (Lindsey) McFelia. He is survived by: Two Sons: Ervin Bernell McFelia (Clara Dean) of Munfordville, KY; Don Turner McFelia (Mae Donna) of Louisville, KY; One Sister: Ethel Forbes of Louisville, KY; One grandson: Timothy Nelson McFelia of Louisville, KY; Two step-grandsons: Paul Bruce Wilson & Timothy Clay Wilson both of Munfordville, KY; One step-granddaughter: Debbie Racel of Louisville, KY; One great-granddaughter: Ashley Nicole McFelia of Louisville, KY; Six step-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Lizzie McFelia; four sisters: Della Duncan, Eula Wade, Nora Doss, Elsie Mertz; two brothers: Cecil & Logan McFelia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rowletts Baptist Church. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM CDT Friday, October 6, 2006 and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM CDT Saturday, October 7, 2006. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 11:00 CDT AM Saturday, October 7, 2006 with Bro. Lonnie Sheets and Bro. Gary Talley officiating. Interment will be at Knoxes Creek Cemetery in Magnolia, KY.
