William "Bill" White

October 5, 1926 — November 2, 2015

William "Bill" White, age 89, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015, at his home in Horse Cave, KY. He was a farmer, faithful member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church where he served as deacon and a member of the Layman's League. He was the son of the late Boyce White and the late Carrie Thornton White and husband of over 63 years to the late Veora Agnes Jordan White.

He is survived by five daughters, Hazel J. Dice and husband John, Louisville, KY, Mary Carolyn Mills-Turner and husband Mike, Munfordville, KY, Paulette G. Bald and husband Johnnie, Louisville, KY, Veora Kathern Coats and husband Jeff, Cave City, KY, Carrie Elaine Tingle and husband Johnnie, South Lyon, MI; daughter-in-law, Joyce White, Munfordville, KY; two sisters, Birdie Horton, Marion, IN, Deloris Inman, Marion, IN; one brother, David White and wife Patricia, Muncie, IN; ten grandchildren, Craig Thompson, Lisa Kelly, Monica White, Machel Mills, Scott Mills, Crystal White, Myra Rock, Brian Mills, Winston Coats, Andrew Coats; twenty-seven great grandchildren, seven great great-grand children; sister-in-law, Patricia White, Muncie, IN; host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three children, Virginia Ann, Nellie V. and William Alford White; two sisters, Jennive McCray, Kathleen White; two brothers, Wiley White, James White and one grandson, Patrick Mills.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM CT, Friday, November 6, 2015 and from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM CT, Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, CT Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church with Rev. Horace Graham and Rev. Douglas Barbour officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Gilboa Cemetery, Canmer, KY.
