Willis K. Melton

Willis K. Melton, age 79 of Hardyville, KY passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a US Army Veteran. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is the son of the late Lloyd Melton and the late Grace Edwards Melton.

He is preceded in death by three brothers, Albert Ray, Fred Leslie and Bobby Melton; three sisters, Alma Trulock, Glenna Faye Melton, and Thelma Sue Melton.

He is survived by his three children, Angel Melton (Ian Lynn) Evansville, IN, Nicole Boston (Eric) Munfordville, KY, and Jr. Melton, Munfordville, KY; three granddaughters, Marissa, Makayla, and Malayna Overfelt; six great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Zoey, Jace, Zailey, Harper, and Ben; a special caregiver, Roberta Wilson; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family also survive.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to T.J. Samson Hospice for all of their kindness.

The family will welcome friends from 2:00 -8:00 PM CT on Sunday, January 18, 2026 and again from 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM CT on Monday, January 19, 2026 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CT on Monday, January 19, 2026 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Templeman officiating. Burial will follow in Edwards Cemetery with military honors.
