Wilma J. "Moose" Thompson

Wilma J. "Moose" Thompson, age 34, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2012, at her residence in Horse Cave, KY. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. The Barren County native was the daughter of the late William Robert Philpott and the late Charlotte Marie Poston. She is survived by one daughter: Amy Jo Payton, Horse Cave, KY; five sisters: Lois Philpott, Horse Cave, KY, Brenda Bush (Doug), Horse Cave, KY, Glenda Hatcher (Doug), Cave City, KY Judy Hughes (Lester), Horse Cave, KY, Susan Moulden (David), Linwood, KY; three brothers: Tom Philpott (Marketta), Horse Cave, KY, Leon Philpott (Rebecca), Horse Cave, KY, Melvin Philpott, Three Springs, KY; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert Lewis Philpott, Donald Philpott and one sister: Sandra Kay Philpott. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Sunday, August 5, 2012 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday, August 6, 2012 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Monday, August 6, 2012 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Stanley Hatcher officiating. Interment will be at Northtown Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY. Memorial donations can be made to Brooks Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
