Winford Lee Faulkner
January 9, 1927 — June 3, 2015
Winford Faulkner, age 88, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, KY. He was a retired lineman with the L & N Railroad and of the Baptist Faith. He was the son of the late Willie Lee Faulkner and the late Ella Bertha Mansfield Faulkner.
He is survived by his wife, Mayme Faulkner, Munfordville, KY; one daughter, Patricia A. Percell and companion Joe, Horse Cave, KY; three sons, Donnie Faulkner, Memphis, TN, Daryl Faulkner and wife Carolyn, Munfordville, KY, Dewight Faulkner (Vonnie), Rowletts, KY; one brother, Cecil Jerry "C.J." Faulkner, Rowletts, KY; one brother-in-law, Bernie Stewart, Rowletts, KY; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Mildred Jean Green and Sybil Faulkner and a sister Melba Lean Stewart.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, June 8, 2015 at Brooks Funeral Home and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Woodsonville Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Woodsonville Baptist Church with Rev. K.T. Ford and Dr. Michael Rice officiating. Interment will be at Woodsonville Memorial Gardens, Munfordville, KY.
