Obituary

Dorothy Lorene Tennyson, age 85, of Louisville, KY, passd away Saturday, February 27, 2021 at her daughter's home. She was a member of the Boiling Springs Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Jesse Tennyson and the late Rosa Warder Tennyson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Hornback and a brother Leonard Tennyson.

She is survived by two daughters, Marilynn Lewis (Mike), Willisburg, KY, Cindy Hornback, Louisville, KY; one sister, Alma Wright, Munfordville, KY; two grandchildren, Stephen Murphy, Jessica Mattingly (Tyler).

The family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 8:00 PMCT Tuesday, March 2, 2021 and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM CT, Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM CT, Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Curtis Slinker officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
