Frederick Wayne "Freddie" Hodges

Frederick Wayne "Freddie" Hodges, age 79, of Bonnieville, KY, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023 at his home. He was a retired coal oil and gas independent land broker and a life long farmer. He was Marine Veteran and volunteered for Vietnam. He was a Honorable Kentucky Colonel. He was an avid sportsman, he played basketball on scholarship for Campbellsville College. Was a pitcher for the Bonnieville Bombers, a fastpitch softball team. He enjoyed spending time on the farm with his cows.

He was the son of the late Basil  Hodges and the late Margaret and Roy Cottrell.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Regenia Hodges; three sons, Federick Scott Hodges and his wife Angela, Bellefonte, PA, Stephen Wayne Hodges and his wife Amanda, Lebanon, TN, David Elliott Hodges, Bonnieville, KY; six grandchildren, Laura Beth Replogle (Nathaniel), Jonathan Hodges (Karah), Matthew Hodges, Connor Hodges, Isabella Hodges, and Madeline Hodges; one sister, Brenda Cave (Paul); several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM CT on Thursday, April 13, 2023 and again from 8:00 AM-11:00 AM CT on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CT on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Trent officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Park in Bonnieville, KY.
