Obituary

Patricia Ann Phelps, age 70 of Glasgow, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023 at the U of L Hospital in Louisville. She was a native of Hart County and she enjoyed karaoke, dancing, roller skating when she was younger; she was a big Patrick Swayze fan, having watched his movies countless of times especially “Dirty Dancing”.

She was the daughter of the late John Frederick Wigand and the late Mertle D. Gowen Wigand.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Royce Pilkenton.

She is survived by two sons, Brandon Reece and his wife Melinna, and Robert Wigand all of Glasgow; two brothers, Larry Thomas Wigand of Grand Pass, OR and John Frederick Wigand Jr. of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Maleah and Landon Reece.

The family will receive friends from 9:30- 10:30 AM CT on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Brooks Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM CT on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Sonora Cemetery with Bro. Jeff McIntosh officiating. Burial will follow there. Brooks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
