Wilburn Cox

Wilburn Cox, age 87, of Cub Run, KY, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021. He was a member of the Cherry Springs Missionary Baptist Church. He was retired builder.

He was the son of the late John Cox and the late Cova Cox. He was also preceded in death by his children William "Bill" Cox, John Dwayne Cox, Cathy Bradley and siblings David Cox, Marie Phillips and Mae Hawkins. He is survived by four daughters, Sandy Clark , Cub Run, KY, Chyrelle Cox, Scottsburg, IN, Anna Marie Butler (Brian), Elizabethtown, KY, Teresa Lynn Shook (Stephen), Upton, KY; four sons, Howard Michael Cox (Cindy), Cub Run, KY, James Robert Cox, Horse Cave, KY, Bradley Colton Cox, Cub Run, KY, Corbin Lee Cox, Cub Run, KY; four sisters, Mildred McDowell, Glasgow, KY, Bernice Waddle , Glasgow, KY, Brenda Faye Cox, Horse Cave, KY, Carolyn "Tooter" Cox, Horse Cave, KY; three brothers, Howard Cox (Jean), Upton, KY, Joe Cox (Maryann), Leitchfield, KY, Haskel Cox, Cub Run, KY; 19 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

The family has chosen cremation.
