William "Marvin" Walters

William "Marvin" Walters, age 78, formerly of Hart County, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019, at his residence in Georgetown, IN. Marvin was a retired truck driver and a teamster steward.

Marvin is survived by his two sons, William Gregory Walters (Cynthia) of Georgetown, IN, and James Dean Walters (Donna) of Seymour, IN; one grandson, Troy Nicholas Walters of Georgetown, IN; one sister, Betty Lou Shuck of Pleasureville, KY; one brother, Melvin Thomas Walters of San Diego, CA; one half-sister, Patty Wilson of Munfordville, KY; and one half-brother, Robert Lamb of Louisville, KY.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Walters and Ada Wilkerson Walters; one sister, Lois Murrell; and two brothers, Elmer Walters, Jr. and Albert Walters.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CT on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at Brooks Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. CT at the funeral home with his son Greg Walters officiating.  Interment will follow at the Wilkerson Temple Cemetery in Munfordville, KY.
